Bob Beers, Lonnie Haydt, and Bruce George signed the original by-laws for the creation of the new West End Quarter Midget Racing Association in 1994. Come the spring of 1995, the first Quarter Midgets made their tracks inside the West End Fairgrounds Arena we’ve all come to love so dearly over the years.

Beers, Haydt, Bob Iudicello, Dave Seip, Todd Schaefer , and Ed Pensyl have been the cornerstones of the organization over the years. We all thank them deeply for the effortless and countless hours they have put into the club to keep it strong and flourishing, not to mention all the Vice Presidents, Secretaries, Treasurers & other unsung heroes in the Association.

As we start each season at the Fairgrounds, the WEQMRA invites drivers, parents and all race fans to experience the action and excitement created weekly by the young USAC Stars of Tomorrow. Whether you visit us at the track or simply follow our results and photos online, we’re happy to have you on board.
